In a Lonely dream..

in a lonely dream,

i was alone in the sea shore..under a strong sun
with his rays almost tearing off my flesh..

but i was in a sea shore..
and it was evening..

i find my shadow longer than me..elder than me..
may be shadows never sleep..
that they never have sepia dreams.

sand strokes- by the sea

sand strokes- by the sea

lines r always being drawn.
But the sea is a hopeless perfectionist...she keeps on drawing in the sand ...
with her wavy fingers...

she had been doing the same for a long time...since time immemorial...

she started it b4 my coming here ...
and she wont stop it even after my return...

but i need smthing to take back from the shore when i return...
so i took back th time i was with her...
freezing it in a frame..
while her wavy fingers were away...

while she was preparing to make the new picture...

this is what i like to take back from the sea...when i return from her...

Under the white blanket...

Pytthal mala - a hilltop in Kannur district with a height of about 3500fts from the sea level is one of the tourist spots in the district.

the hilltop is a typical shole forest, with its grass lands and vegetation.

during rainy season, its difficult to reach here. leeches, fog and fallen trees makes you in knee-deep trouble.

the fog, will blind you and will chill you to the bones.

on the top, our hair, get beaded with white drops of fog.

but beware, you may meet an elephant on the way at any moment!!

Yama - Another face of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezi)

Yama - the God of Death- one among the many faces of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezi) - the Budha in Tibetan belief.

As god of the dead (Yama) and snarling monster Avalokiteshvara also holds the “wheel of life” in his claws, which is in truth a “death wheel” (a sign of rebirth) in Buddhism. Among the twelve fundamental evils etched into the rim of the wheel which make an earthly/human existence appear worthless can be found “sexual love”, “pregnancy” and “birth”.

In the world of appearances Yama represents suffering and mortality, birth and death. So much cruelty and morbidity is associated with this figure in the tantric imagination that he all but has to be seen as the shadowy brother of the Bodhisattva of mercy and love. Yet both Buddha beings prove themselves to be a paradoxical unit.

Yama shows the shady side of Avalokiteshvara

". Every Buddha and every Bodhisattva — tantric doctrine says — can appear in a peaceful and a terrible form. This is also true for the Bodhisattva of supreme compassion.."

The 'White Out'

when rain is in reign on the hill top...

trees are just sillhoutes...

the photo is from the hilltop of pythal mala
i visted it during the last monsoon season...
lonely on the top with only white around me i wondered whether i have reached directly to the sky..! !

in the 'white out' i lost my way and was wandering frantically to find the way down into the forest ...

then suddenly the white wall in front of me melted away and i saw these silhoutted rock and tree just in front of me..

i was so happy to see smthing not white in the distance..

my batteries were almost running out in the cold but i mangaed to get this somehow...

....for the time i was in the 'white out' on the hilltop...

I'm Back here ....
Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station.

This station in the capital city have a lot of importance in my life...

From here i set off to the other tip of kerala in night trains...traveling nearly 500 kilometers in one night...

This is the place which made me kno tht she loves my eyes...

This station let me kno the night life in malabar express and maveli expres...
To let me kno a lot about life

It sheltered me in those mad nights frm the stings of flying squads..
its home for me..

A home to which i can return. at any time...at least with a platform ticket..
A home to set off ....
